MUSCAT: The Ministry of Education in Oman has suspended evening classes on Tuesday, 25 October due to the partial solar eclipse.
A partial solar eclipse is a rare event that occurs when the moon comes between the sun and earth. As the name suggests, the moon only partially covers the sun’s disk.
In a statement issued, the Ministry said evening classes will be suspended, while morning classes will end after the sixth class on Tuesday. However, normal classes will resume on Wednesday, 26 October.
