MUSCAT: The Festival will also include the participation of investors and small and medium enterprises that are engaged in production and sale of date products, palms and their derivatives.
The main and organizing committees of the festival management held a preparatory meeting, chaired by H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Bakri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources for Agriculture, in the presence of representatives from the Royal Oman Police, Muscat Municipality, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.
The Omani Dates Festival is one of the most important events held in the Sultanate of Oman; it is organized annually by the Agriculture Ministry with the aim of encouraging small and medium enterprises to invest in date production and processing sector.
