MUSCAT : In a press statement after the final match, the AFC President said that Al Seeb team’s victory in the championship reflects the spirit and determination of the team members, who presented remarkable technical expertise and outstanding performance in the final match that deserved to win the title.

He stressed that this achievement translates the efforts of the Board of Directors of Al Seeb Club, headed by H.H. Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, in harnessing the team’s capabilities in preparing them for the competition and winning the championship that will be recorded in golden letters in the history of the club, and Omani football in general. H.E. Sheikh Al Khalifa crowned Al Seeb team as the champion of the AFC Cup after defeating Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, by three clean goals in the final match of the competition that took place at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in the Malaysian capital.
