MUSCAT : The Royal Opera House in Muscat will present the popular opera through two shows: on October 28, at 7 pm, and on October 29, at 4 pm – and will include a pre-performance talk, an hour before the start of the show. On the agenda are two school performances on 26th and 27th October, at 10.30 am.

Engelbert Humperdinck’s popular family opera delivers the centuries old fairy tale to the delight of family audiences around the world. The opera tells the tale of two children who are lost in the woods and find themselves at a cottage made of sweets, only to discover that they have been lured to the home of a witch. They must use their ingenuity to escape! This production features the extraordinary participation of a local children’s choir,’ states ROHM’s website.
