MUSCAT: The health project, which was approved by the Tender Board during its fourth meeting of this year, will be implemented at an amount of OMR13,920,000. Given the importance of the location of the Wilayat of Mahout, it will serve about 1708 people, including citizens and residents from the Wilayat and neighboring villages.

The Ministry of Health stated that the hospital would provide primary and secondary health care services with a capacity of 54 beds, and the hospital would be built on an area of 15,612 square meters in a land area of 200,000 square meters.

The hospital will include outpatient clinics, an accident and emergency department, an operating theater, a maternity hall, medical laboratories and a radiology department, in addition to internal wards, an intensive care unit, a care unit for premature babies, a service building and a dialysis unit. The hospital will also be provided with all electrical and mechanical services, air conditioning and networks Computer and all services and support work.

The Mahout Hospital project will take approximately 30 months to build, starting from the first quarter of 2023.
