MUSCAT: According to the statistical bulletin issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information for the month of September 2022, the total number of live births in the Sultanate of Oman, until the end of December 2021, amounted to 82,224 individuals, while the total number of births until the end of August 2022 was 49,705. Of this, 45,814 were Omanis, and 3,891 were expatriates.
As for the deaths, the total reached to 12,648 until the end of December 2021; the number was 6,579 deaths until the end of August 2022, including 5,490 Omanis and 1,086 expatriates.
