MUSCAT: The Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, represented by the Department of Pharmaceutical Care and Medical Stores, has launched a QR Code service on bags carrying medical supplies to for safe and effective use of drugs.
This service will enable auditors to access manuals that explain how to use medicines in their pharmaceutical form.
Pharmacist Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Harbi, Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Care and Medical Stores, explained that this initiative came about to provide a modern model for health education in the field of safe use of medicines and to reach the largest segment of society.
