MUSCAT: The Muscat Municipality has towed away vehicles abandoned at the commercial and residential areas in the Bowsher area on Monday.
The abandoned vehicles obstruct roads and cause nuisance to walkers. The official team towed away such vehicles after serving notice time to take them away by respective owners.
In a tweet on Monday, Muscat Municipality urged vehicle owners to dispose them properly and not to dump their vehicles after violating laws and regulations. “The security and health risks it causes is immense and its impact on the environment and hurdles to the general public is worse,” it added.
