MUSCAT : The executive committee of AFC will announce the host country for its next edition, with Qatar, South Korea and Indonesia bidding for the event. The host country for the championship will be announced after an extensive evaluation of the candidacy files by the AFC office.
The finals are scheduled to take place in July 2023.
It is worth noting that Oman’s national football team qualified for the Asian finals for the fifth time, after it came second in the fifth group of the joint Asian qualifiers, which was led by Qatar.
