MUSCAT: The Cosmic Girl aircraft which will launch the Sultanate of Oman’s first satellite into space from United Kingdom’s Spaceport Cornwall (space station) has landed in Newquay the other day.
The Cosmic Girl is expected to place eight more spacecraft above Earth in the next few weeks. The Omani satellite will enter its first mission in Earth’s orbit.
According to reports reaching here, a launch window for the first launch from Spaceport Cornwall opens at the end of this month.

The spaceport is the first in the UK and has partnered with Virgin Orbit utilising its LauncherOne system to launch satellites into space.
This week, first satellites will be loaded onto the first launch being prepared at Spaceport Cornwall.
The Boeing 747 has been converted to carry a rocket to propel satellites into space and will soar to 35,000ft and release the rocket will propel nine satellites into orbit.
