MUSCAT: The ‘Wusool’ project, for the management of documents and electronic files, will be launched at a formal ceremony at Al-Bustan Palace, a Ritz Carlton Hotel, tomorrow. The project seeks to provide a system for managing documents, including electronic ones to manage documentation from the moment it is created until it reaches their final stage in a manner that complies with the national procedures manual for managing documents.
The arrival of an electronic system for managing documents and all information assets of the institution is in line with the standards and procedures followed by the National Records and Archives Authority, and the system is a specialized and secure platform that enables government agencies to create and manage all electronic documents in an integrated manner throughout their life stage. The system will enable authorities to communicate directly, thereby reducing the use of paper, and raising the efficiency of communication for government institutions.
