MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases on Saturday.
Of the 325 prisoners who were issued Royal pardon, 141 convicts were foreign nationals.
His Majesty’s Royal pardon coincides with Prophet’s birthday and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
