MUSCAT: The General Administration of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control managed to arrest international smugglers and networks who devised new methods of smuggling drugs into the Sultanate of Oman.
The new method, according to a tweet on Friday by the Royal Oman Police said that the drug smugglers changed the shape of crystal drugs and turned to liquid form. The changed form is then hidden behind the fuel tanks of vehicles shipped through vehicle transport trucks and containers.
The ROP called on owners of vehicles transporting trucks to verify the load of the vehicles and the identity of the companies and people who are handling the such vehicle transportation.
