MUSCAT: The General Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation in a joint operation with Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested a gang of seven Asians on charges of fraud in the wilayat of Seeb.
The fraudsters used forged forms to send messages on social media to dupe the people and to steal their bank data.
The Royal Oman Police also urged general public to ignore such suspect communications and messages and also to report them as soon as possible.
