MUSCAT: The Omani exports to the United Arab Emirates grew by 105% during the first half of 2022, reaching OMR 35.456 million compared to the same period last year of OMR 17.335 million.
Oman exports varied from the building materials sector, which exported a total value of OMR 22 million, followed by the foodstuff sector with a total value of OMR 8 million, in addition to the mining, packaging, agricultural materials, chemicals and petrochemicals sectors.
It is noteworthy that Oman Credit and the National Export Credit Company of the Federal Government of the United Arab Emirates signed in 2019 a memorandum of understanding to enhance trade and economic cooperation between the Sultanate and the Emirates.
