MUSCAT: Personal loans disbursed by commercial banks in the Sultanate of Oman inched upwards to over OMR 8 billion in first half of 2022.
In a quarterly bulletin issued by the Central Bank of Oman indicated that the total personal loans in the Sultanate of Oman reached OMR 8.8 billion by the end of June 2022.
The total volume of bank credit to commercial banks also increased by 2.6 percent by the end of June 2022 to reach OMR23.2 billion.
