Sandwiches are made everywhere and can be made in countless various ways. Obviously, certain individuals consider sandwiches differently. The name sandwich initially came from a man by the name of Lord Sandwich. Lord Sandwich was a betting man, and he would be given bread and meat to eat during his betting time at the table.
TOMATO CHEESE SANDWICH

1 tsp butter
½ onion (finely chopped)
2 tomatoes (finely chopped)
¼ tsp turmeric
1 tsp pav bhaji masala
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp coriander (finely chopped)
for sandwich assembly:
bread
butter
green chutney
tomato slice
cheese slice
Chaat masala
INSTRUCTIONS
- Firstly, in a pan heat 1 tsp butter and sauté ½ onion.
- Add 2 tomato and sauté until tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
- Add ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp pav bhaji masala and ½ tsp salt.
- Sauté on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.
- Add 2 tbsp coriander and mix well. tomato stuffing is ready.
- To prepare the sandwich, spread butter on 2 slices of bread.
- Spread green chutney
- Further top with 1 tbsp of prepared tomato stuffing.
- Place 2 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cheese.
- Sprinkle some chaat masala and cover with bread slice.
- Grill the sandwich to golden brown on both sides.
- Finally, enjoy tomato sandwich with tomato sauce.
GRILLED CHEESE PIZZA SANDWICH
INGREDIENTS
1 onion (finely chopped)
3 tbsp sweet corn
1 tomato (finely chopped)
½ capsicum (finely chopped)
3 tbsp paneer (cubes)
¼ tsp pepper powder
½ tsp salt
¼ cup mayonnaise (eggless)
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp chilli sauce
1 tsp green chutney
¼ cup cheese (grated)
For one sandwich:
3 slice bread (white or brown)
butter (to spread)
3 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp green chutney
8 slice cucumber
4 slice tomato
2 tbsp potato (boiled & mashed)
pinch chaat masala
½ tsp chilli sauce
¼ tsp chilli flakes
¼ tsp mixed herbs
2 tbsp pizza cheese (grated)
METHOD
- Firstly, in a large bowl take 1 onion, 3 tbsp sweet corn, 1 tomato, ½ capsicum and 3 tbsp paneer.
- Add ¼ tsp pepper powder, ½ tsp salt and mix well.
- Add ¼ cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tsp chilli sauce, 1 tsp green chutney and ¼ cup cheese.
- Mix well making sure everything is well combined. The stuffing is ready.
- Take 3 slices of bread and spread butter.
- On one of the slices spread 1 tbsp tomato sauce and on another 1 tsp green chutney.
- Spread 2 tbsp of prepared stuffing on one slice of bread.
- Cover with a slice of bread that is buttered.
- Place 8 slice cucumber, 4 slice tomato, 2 tbsp potato, pinch chaat masala, and 1 tbsp tomato sauce.
- Cover with a bread slice, in which green chutney is spread.
- Press gently, butter the sandwich and grill to a golden brown.
- Place the sandwich in a pan. make sure to place a plate or stand at the bottom to prevent burning.
- Spread 1 tbsp tomato sauce, ½ tsp chilli sauce, ¼ tsp chilli flakes and ¼ tsp mixed herbs.
- Spread uniformly, you can alternatively use pizza sauce here.
- Top with 2 tbsp of grated pizza cheese.
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
- Finally, slice half and enjoy grilled cheese pizza sandwich with potato chips.
