MUSCAT: Sheikha Amina bint Saud Bahwan has donated OMR 4 million to Royal Hospital for the Adult Emergency Department and the National Cancer Center at the hospital.
In a statement issued, the hospital administration expressed its appreciation to the Sheikha Amina bint Saud Bahwan Foundation and the efforts made by the Ministry of Health.
The expansion includes adding five beds for recovery and 20 beds to treat emergency cases, in addition to increasing the number of isolation rooms and preparing two buildings to provide rehabilitation and physiotherapy services at the hospital

The fund will also utilised to expand parenteral nutrition services and the supply of intravenous medications for oncology patients.
“The expansion is necessary to improve various health services and to keep pace with scientific and technological development, which achieves the vision of 2040,” the hospital added.
