MUSCAT: Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has signed a contract with Esbaar for Artificial Intelligence and Drones Technologies to provide remotely piloted aircraft systems services to carry out survey, inspection and monitoring operations in the company’s areas of operations.
These systems will contribute to reducing exposure to health, safety and environment risks, raising the efficiency of operations and improving production through increased follow-up and enhanced capabilities for data evaluation.
A group of young Omanis will operate and manage the drones after passing the training period.
