MUSCAT: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism signs a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education to implement the ‘Oman and My Destination’ program targeting students in the 9 to 12 grades of the Sultanate’s schools and introduce them to the tourism sector.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism by Azzan bin Qassim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary for Tourism, and on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Abdullah bin Khamis Ambosaidi, Undersecretary for Education.

‘Oman and My Destination’ program is expected to develop students’ entrepreneurial abilities, crystallize their creative ideas, to achieve a number of different educational goals, to train students on entrepreneurial skills, enable to establish student companies in the tourism and hospitality sectors including craft products, conferences and exhibitions, adventure tourism. The program is expected to develop, empower and raise the level of the Omani students in various skills.
