MUSCAT: The US International Trade Commission (USITC) has found that the US industry is not materially damaged or at risk of material injury due to imports of steel nails from Turkey, Oman and India, which the US Department of Commerce said it supported in all three countries.

In a new statement published on its website, the USITC stated that it had voted not to impose duties on steel nails imports from Turkey, Oman and India.

It also found that imports of such products from Sri Lanka, which the Commerce Department said were subsidized, was negligible, and voted to end the countervailing duties related to Sri Lanka
