On HM directives, Oman sends relief goods for flood victims in Pakistan

MUSCAT: In implementation of the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Sultanate on Friday operated relief aid flights to Pakistan to help victims of devastating floods in the country.

The flights operated by the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) carried various medical materials and essential goods. The relief aid was coordinated by Oman Charitable Organisation.

The aid flights are helping strengthen the ongoing response to the devastating floods in the country.

More than 6.4 million people are in dire need of humanitarian aid in Pakistan after the catastrophic floods affected more than 33 million and killed at least 1,314 people including 458 children since mid-June.
