MUSCAT: Cyclist Saeed Al-Rahbi from the Royal Army of Oman won first place in the 123km third stage and penultimate round of the Tour of Salalah on Tuesday.
The grueling ride began in front of the Mirbat Fort, passing through Aqabat Hashir and Tawi Ateer and finished at Wadi Darbat.
The fourth stage on Wednesday begins at the Khor Rori from 9am and finishes at the Municipal Entertainment Centre.

The tour organised by Oman Cycling Association comprises four stages of 456km ride. At least 70 riders and a dozen teams are competing in the event.
The Salalah Tour 2022 began on Sunday.
The Royal Oman Police in the Governorate of Dhofar had closed traffic in one lane on two-lane roads and in both directions on single roads during the competition.
