MUSCAT : Oman Cricket recently conducted an Asian Cricket Council Level 1 Umpires Educator Course for the domestic senior Level 2 umpires.
The course was organised as part of OC’s development programme. Following the conclusion of the five-day course at the Oman Cricket Academy, the senior umpires will now be able to share their knowledge and experience with the junior level umpires.
Sarika Prasad, an ACC Senior Umpire and Match Referee, conducted the course for umpires who completed their Level 2 certification before 2020.

Oman Cricket’s Chief Development Officer, Duleep Mendis said, “ We congratulate all the participants who have successfully completed the Level 1 Educators course. The course will develop our panel of umpires and raise the level umpiring to a higher level. We encourage new participants to participate in Oman Cricket organized courses for Coaches, Educators, Umpires, Scorers etc. “
The umpires certified as Level 1 Educators are : Harikrishna Pillai , Rahul Asher , Vinod Babu , Navaneetha K and Azad KR.
