MUSCAT : The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) raided a commercial establishment for unauthorised selling used tyres in the wilayat of Sur under the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
CPA tweeted on Monday stated: “The Consumer Protection Department in South Al Sharqiyah seizes a commercial establishment in the Wilayat of Sur that trades and sells used tyres, which is in violation of Resolution No. 257/2015 regarding the ban on trading used tyres, ” CPA said in a statement.
Earlier, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Agricultural Wealth and Water Resources, an awareness campaign was organised on animal feed stores to ensure that they follow rules and comply with standards in the Sultanate.
