MUSCAT: Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), has on Monday denied rumors that circulated in social media platforms about a fire at Mina Al Fahal.
“PDO is aware of a photo and a message claiming that a fire has broken out at Mina Al Fahal circulating on social media and WhatsApp. Please be advised that neither is true. We would like to remind you to seek reliable information from their official sources,” PDO said in a statement.
Mina Al Fahal is a key area for the country’s petroleum operations.
