MUSCAT: Flight operations at Muscat International Airport has been affected after a major power outage in many parts of the country on Monday.
“Our concerned team at Muscat International Airport is currently dealing with the power outage affecting the vicinity of the airport,” Oman Airport said.
In a statement issued, Oman Airports said “teams at the airport are fully working to ensure that operations are running according to the flight schedules for the day.”

“It is expected that operations will be affected by this out of control malfunction,” the statement added.
The Public Services Regulatory Authority has confirmed that it working to restore electricity after a major power outage hit many parts of the country including Muscat.
