The competition open to all is all about making a delicious pudding (‘paayasam’) and will be showcased at the Lulu Hypermarket in Ruwi.
Organised by Wasel Exchange, the contest will see nearly 25 men and women vying for the prize in paayasam making.

Payasam is basically a sweetened pudding made with either milk or coconut milk on special occasion and with ‘Onam’, it is imperative for paayasam to accompany the delicious feast on a plantain leaf.
The first three winners will be given first positions while all participants will have their own share of prize after the event.
A panel of three acclaimed chefs will adjudicate the event. Public will be served with the variety of paayasam that were in competition, according to the organisers.
Those who want to participate can get in touch with the organizers on either 79482122 or 99443622
