MUSCAT: The Civil Defense And Ambulance Department’s firefighting teams extinguished a fire that caught a vehicle in Ruwi on Wednesday. Witnesses said that the CDAA’s firefighters in Muscat Governorate put out the fire that caught a vehicle in the MBD area of Ruwi.
“The ROP prevented the fire from spreading into other vehicles which were parked nearby, without reports of any injuries,” a resident said. The incident happened around Wednesday 12 noon.
In another incident reported in Seeb, the CDAA rescue team also responded to a report of a cooking gas leak in a restaurant in the Al-Jifnain area where it was able to put out the leaked gas. No injuries were reported.
