MUSCAT: The United Kingdom expressed its appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s steadfast commitment to the peace process in Yemen, and its continued work with Britain to seek an end to the conflict.
Richard Oppenheim, the British Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen, in his Tweet expressed his great happiness at visiting the Sultanate of Oman recently and noted that he held a fruitful meeting at the headquarters of the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs.
It is worth noting that Al Harthy had on Monday received the British envoy to the Republic of Yemen.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Yemen and efforts to find peaceful solutions to the crisis, and issues of common interests.
