MUSCAT: The Ministry of Energy and Minerals and the Oman Tanker Company (OTCO), a subsidiary of the OQ Group, signed an agreement to develop, build and operate a new pipeline.
This proposed pipeline will start from the Ras Markaz station in the Duqm Special Economic Zone.
The agreement entails developing, building and operating a new pipeline along with other associated facilities to transport, store and export Omani crude oil.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Eng. Salem bin Nasser Al-Awfi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, Talal bin Hamed Al-Awfi, CEO of OQ Group, and Hilal bin Ali Al-Kharusi, CEO of the commercial sector, refineries and petrochemicals in Okio and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Omani Tanker Company.
