SALALAH : The 6th Arab Entrepreneurs Forum kicked off here today under the theme “Innovation and Entrepreneurship”.
The forum, organized by Dhofar Municipality in cooperation with Modern Talent Company, was held on the sidelines of Khareef Dhofar 2022 activities.
Eng. Ridha Juma Al Saleh, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), gave a speech in which he affirmed that the OCCI supports and encourages entrepreneurship through several initiatives. It offers entrepreneurs consultancy and training and markets their products, among other means of support.

The forum, attended by 45 entrepreneurs from Oman and Arab countries, stems from public-private partnership aimed at motivating economic activities and investment.
Two seminars were included during the forum. The first seminar focused on enhancing the role of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in economic development, and the second seminar dealt with the effects of innovation on economic development.
At the conclusion of the forum, the participants and sponsoring companies were felicitated.
