MUSCAT: The commercial and economic activities in Al Buraimi Central Market has been active on all days of the week.
Many local products are currently being displayed at external stands, which include various fruits and vegetables.
The central market in the Wilayat Al Buraimi is one of the most famous traditional markets in the Sultanate of Oman.

The market is located in the Buraimi Oasis near the Trench Fort, and on the path of a number of roads linking the Wilayat of Al Buraimi Governorate to each other. Visitors and tourists flock to the market from all parts of the governorate.
“The market was built in a strategic location, with the aim of serving visitors and consumers from Al Buraimi and other governorates,” Rashid bin Mohammed Al Badi, head of the Food Licensing Department and Acting Director of Al Buraimi Municipality said.
He added, “The market witnesses an active buying and selling movement throughout the week, as some local products are brought to it from the various wilayats of North Al Batinah, such as local bananas, mangoes, and all kinds of dates.”
