MUSCAT: Two children and their father died in a tragic drowning incident in Al Sawadi Beach in Wilayat Barka on Thursday, August 11.
The mother and one of the three children were rescued, the authorities said.
The rescue teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) in South Al Batinah Governorate responded to a drowning report earlier today. The authorities rushed to the site to rescue the family of five who had reportedly drowned near Al Sawadi Beach.

The authority has called on everyone to follow safety guidelines, not to swim in undesignated places, and to monitor children to avoid tragic drowning accidents.
