KONYA : Runner Barakat Al Harthy, player of the national athletics team, bagged the first medal for the Sultanate of Oman in the 5th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games, held in Konya, Turkey, from 9 to 18 August 2022.
Barakat Al Harthy won the bronze medal in the 100-meter sprint, after finishing third in the race with a time of 9.99 seconds.
