SALALAH : The Governorate of Dhofar acted host to the GCC Sustainable Development Forum, which kicked off here today under the theme of “One GCC Developmental Track”.
Organized by Al Roya newspaper, the two-day forum seeks to ally efforts for a unified future vision and development indicators among GCC states.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, who felicitated those who contributed to the conference.

The forum tasks cover two main themes: 1. “GCC future visions and requirements for the unification of efforts” and 2. “Mechanisms for the development of GCC development indicators”.
In its second day, the forum includes workshops on mechanisms on measuring performance indicators, societies progress, innovation, creating sustainable development opportunities, GCC partnerships and the overall methodology of unifying the development track.
