MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health (MOH), on Tuesday, signed two agreements with Oman Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Development Foundation (ODF) at the Ministry’s Headquarters to finance health projects.
In accordance with the first accord, Sinaw Hospital’s radiology department would receive financial assistance for the ultrasound acquisition. This agreement highlights the Ministry of Health’s keenness to work with the Oman LNG Development Foundation to boost the medical care provided at Sinaw Hospital.
In accordance with worldwide standards of competence, the second agreement allows funding for a training programme for infection and sterilisation personnel.

This initiative, which aims to qualify employees to pass international accreditation exams in infection prevention and control as well as the sterilisation of medical and surgical instruments, is the first of its type in this field between the two parties.
