MUSCAT: A major electrical transformer project with a capacity of up to 60 megavolt-amperes and at a cost of OMR 2.6 million has been implemented in the Special Economic Zone in Duqm.
Engineer Saeed bin Ahmed Bani Arraba, who is in charge of the Department of Electricity and Water Regulation in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm said that electricity distribution station is equipped with the latest electrical equipment in accordance with the Omani standard specifications and will feed a number of existing and under-construction projects.
