MUSCAT: Dhofar Municipality has issued three tenders for development projects to expand some vital roads which are experiencing congestion and traffic jams in Dhofar Governorate.
The first project is the construction of Atyn Roundabout Tunnel, which was designed to address traffic jams on Ateen Street and 18 November Street, taking into account the aesthetic elements of the design.
The second project is the Sultan Taymour Street Duality project, and the third project being the Duality of Al-Farouq Street would take into account the future management of traffic and providing the two streets with low-cost lighting.

These projects come within the strategic plans of the Dhofar Municipality. The strategic plans include improving the efficiency of the road network by implementing these projects which would address traffic jams and better the flow of vehicular movement in these areas.
