MUSCAT: The children of the Sultanate of Oman participated in the second session of the Arab Parliament for the Child, hosted by the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
The children achieved an honours degree in the Arab Parliament Diploma for Children for Parliamentary Work Skills, an advanced level, with the participation of 77 trainees representing 17 Arab country.
In order to prepare youngsters to become future parliamentarians, the programme aims to educate them the ideals and principles of parliamentary work.
