MUSCAT: The Department of the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, represented by the Environmental Awareness Team, organised a clean-up campaign to remove waste from the sea fishing port.
The slogan of the clean-up drive was ‘Together for a Sustainable Environment in Duqm’ aimed at removing waste from the sea fishing port in the Special Economic Zone, Duqm.
Over 40 volunteers from a number of companies operating in the region participated in the campaign. Also, members of the marine crew on fishing vessels and boats anchored at the berth of the fishing port participated in the drive.
