Indian Schools in Oman secure outstanding results in the CBSE Exams – 2022

MUSCAT : Class X & XII CBSE Board Results of 2022 have set commendable records for Indian Schools in Oman with an unprecedented number of high achievers and an impressive pass percentage, setting another benchmark of excellence in academics. This year the CBSE, India had conducted the Board examination for class X & XII in two terms and the academic performance of Indian School students have been consistently outstanding.

The Oman toppers in Class XII science stream are as follows: Pranshu Dasgupta of Indian School Al Ghubra is the Oman topper with 99.4%; the second position is claimed by Rathod Smit Amitkumar from Indian School Sohar with 98.4%; and the third position is sharted by two students from Indian School Al Ghubra –Ishan Jabir and Keshav Balwant Deoskar – both scoring 98.2%.

The Class XII commerce stream toppers are Angel Maria Tarson (Indian School Darsait) and Sujanya Sriram (Indian School Al Ghubra) both scoring 97.8%. The second position is also being shared by two students scoring 97.6%, Lakshmi Priyaanjani Krishnan (Indian School Al Seeb) and Ojas Golyan (Indian School Sohar). Ananya Panwar (Indian School Al Ghubra) has claimed the third position with 97.2%.

The first and the second position in the Humanities stream are being claimed by Shraavani Sastry and Caroline Judi Benhur from Indian School Al Ghubra with 98% and 97.6% respectively. Sharlotte Carvalho of Indian School Muscat claims the third position with 97.4%.

Aman Saji of Indian School Sohar is the Oman topper of Class X CBSE Board examination 2022 with a phenomenal score at 99.8%. The second position is claimed by Keziah Mariam Koshy Varghese of Indian School Al Maabela at 99.6%. Abhinav Sunil Prasad of Indian School Salalah claims the third position with 99.4%.

Indian Schools do not put any restriction on admissions and every child who seeks admission finds a place irrespective of academic performance. Teachers made persistent efforts to enhance the academic levels of children by providing remedial and additional coaching on off days and evening hours in order to compensate for the learning loss due to Covid.

Indian Schools in Oman offer three streams of study to students – Science, Commerce and Humanities – and a total number of 1859 students appeared for the Class 12 and 2459 students appeared for Class X CBSE examinations held this year.
