MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Saturday arrested three motorists after they were caught for speeding.
In a statement issued, ROP said the officials seized the vehicles after they were found exceeding the speed limit and endangering their lives and the lives of others, “which is unacceptable behavior and a violation punishable by the Traffic Law.”
“The General Traffic Department confirms that it seized the vehicles led by the Central Governorate Police. Legal procedures against them are being completed,” ROP said.

“The Royal Oman Police calls on everyone to abide by traffic rules and regulations, and to make our roads safer for its users,” the statement added.
