OIA reviews food investment opportunities in Tanzania

These opportunities can aid in achieving the Sultanate’s objectives of diversifying import sources for livestock and other agricultural products.

MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman is reviewing multiple investment opportunities in the Tanzanian food sector, the Oman Embassy in Dar es Salaam said in a statement on Thursday, July 21.

A joint team from the Oman Investment Authority, the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa visited Tanzania, at the invitation of the Tanzanian Investment Centre.

The visit took place with the participation of the deputy head of the Omani mission in Dar es Salaam, the Tanzanian Ambassador in Muscat, and representatives of the Oman Investment Authority in East Africa.

These opportunities can aid in achieving the Sultanate’s objectives of diversifying import sources for livestock and other agricultural products.
