MUSCAT: The Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Oman has received 4,000 patients for treatment during the first year of its operation.
From mid-July 2021 to end of June 2022, patients received 3,619 radiotherapy sessions, 4,757 chemotherapy doses were administered, and 262 surgeries were performed.
The centre provides health care through a leading multidisciplinary medical staff with considerable potential, proficiencies, and technical readiness that involves modern medical equipment and advanced information systems.
