MUSCAT: Dhofar Municipality won the Outstanding Achievement Award (SAG GIS Award) in the use of artificial intelligence in GIS for 2022.
The ESRI conference, the largest GIS conference in the world, sees a participation of at least 15,000 people from all over the world. This year’s conference was held in San Diego, USA, from July 11 to 15.
The award was received by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsen Al Ghassani, Mayor of Dhofar Municipality, handed over by Mr. Jack Dangermond, President and Founder of the ESRI Conference. This award is devoted to the best innovative practices in the use of GIS.
