MUSCAT: There was an increase of 36 per cent in waste generation recorded during the Eid Al Adha holidays in the Sultanate, Oman Environmental Services Holding Company “Be’ah” said on Monday.
According to Be’ah more than 45,000 tons of waste were removed during the Eid Al Adha period. 12,000 tons of waste were collected from Muscat Governorate, followed by 6,800 tons from North Al Batinah.
