MUSCAT: Four hikers were rescued from the highest mountain in Al Olaya region in
Wilayat of Al-Awabi on Friday night.
In a statement issued, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said the four people fell tired after practicing mountain hiking. “They did not take the necessary precautions, including water and food,” ROP said.
The Royal Oman Police stated that they were transferred to the Rustaq Reference Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
