MUSCAT: The Royal Air Force of Oman aided in evacuating a Filipino sailor whose leg was injured.
He was transferred to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah by one of the helicopters of the Royal Air Force of Oman.
The sailor with the broken leg could receive the necessary specialised treatment, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said in a statement.
