MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) in Dhofar Governorate has arrested three expatriates for illegal possession of narcotics.
The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department, led by the Dhofar Governorate Police seized 14 kilograms of hashish and 280 Captagon tablets.
The authorities, in cooperation with the Special Task Forces of Salalah, arrested the accused who belonged to Asian and African communities. Legal procedures have been initiated against the accused, the authorities said in a statement.
